This Information System (IS) Management course invites students to consider IS beyond the traditional view of their IT and technological aspects. In this respect, several IS notions are provided (ERP, tools applied to the supply chain management (SCM), CRM, IOT, etc.), several typologies are presented, and concrete exampled of tools are exposed. The lecture establishes the link with the digital transition companies (and more bloadly our society) are currently going through. This allows students to understand the intersecting role of the IS department in their environment.
The second part of the course focuses more specifically on IT project management. For this purpose, the key stages of this type of project are specified, the tools hat can be used to monitor its advancement, as well as the key success and failure factors commonly identified by the specialists. Students will participate to two serious games and dive into IT project management using agile methods.
Finally, the last part of this module questions the issues of intellectual properties and data security
