Course group - TB1-GRHR
This Toolbox insists on the human dimension of an organisation, in terms of Human Resources Management (HR) following a logic of corporate social responsibility. “Social expectations which progress, stronger economic and organisational constraints, a State which considers it has the authority and the duty to intervene …but what is the real role of Human Resources Management in the face of such realities ?” (Honoré et al, 2010). Students will explore the links between HR strategy and policies of a company and understand how a manager can refer to the HR department to help with the management of his team.
There are three units in this Toolbox: Sustainable HR management (12h), Management and the game of Go (15h), and Labour Law (13h).
The unit on Management and the game of Go deals with notions of strategy
The unit on sustainable management clarifies the HR function in companies (policies of diversity, social relations, self-knowledge)
The Labour Law unit presents the essential elements of law in HR management.
Through the clarifications provided by the 3 units, students will acquire a more precise vision of HR management in companies and the reference markers that might be mobilised in professional situations.
The “Change Management” Toolbox is a pertinent complement for a future manager
