Course group - TB1-API
Our students are increasingly being faced in their different missions by tasks of extracting, managing, transforming, summarising and publishing information from software programmes, data bases and web sites to be transferred to other computer based media.
The aim of this course is to train engineering students in the extraction of information, the structuring and simple exploitation of this information and its diffusion, using simple tools.
The notions of integrity, quality and security of information will be at the core of the intended learning outcomes, along with the simple and solid manipulation of methods and tools for the application of these processes.
The first unit deals with the exchange of information between applications and the simple processing of this information (pre- or post- processing). The second unit enables students to apply the notions studied in the first unit to 2 varied case studies.
Unit 1: Exchange and simple processing of information.
Unit 2: Case studies
This course is a predecessor to all courses calling for the processing of information sets (pre- or post- processing) with simple engineering tools.
