INDUSTRIAL PROJECT

Edit

ECTS credits

10.0

Course Director(s):

  • SERRIS Eric
  • General Description:

    The industrial project is a work that can be carried out in pairs or individually, its main objective is the efficient and autonomous management of a project with an external client. As a result, it places the student in the position of a service provider responding to a client's request by drawing up and then producing specifications and supplying the expected deliverables to the client. It should enable students to apply the managerial and scientific knowledge and skills acquired during their studies.

    The student is responsible for the progress of his project: communication between the different actors is an essential aspect of the industrial project.

    If appropriate, the project can be combined with a research project (semester 10), while conserving two distinct parts.

    The project could follow on from a 2nd year internship and/or the Innovation/Creation/Entrepreneurship project.

    The student must have acquired (during Major 2A, Societal Challenges, or previous training) or acquire during the semester, the scientific skills necessary to carry out the project.
    The industrial project directly follows the work experience and internships. Unlike the latter, it explicitly aims at mastering the associated project management and communication tools. The project must be led by the student, who must take the initiative for interactions with his tutors.
    The project can be proposed by the student (business creation project initiated during the Innovation/Creation/Entrepreneurship project for example).
