Course group - D-SMP-S9
The "Personalized Medicine and Healthcare" courses aims to actively prepare students to address the numerous future challenges in the fields of health and medicine, with an awareness of the environmental impact of the healthcare industry.
The various modules provide engineering students with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to undertake projects in digital health (in the 8th semester, D1), biomechanics, and biomaterials (in the 9th semester, D2). These three modules are complemented by a cross-disciplinary module on medical devices (in the 8th semester, D1), which covers the main stages of medical device development. This latter module is delivered by our partner NOVEKA, an association that brings together and leads a community of medical device industry professionals.
The Personalized Medicine and Healthcare courses consists of four modules, allowing students to follow a theme focused on personalized care.
The two semesters (8th semester - D1 and 9th semester - D2) are independent, and the 9th semester is shared with the BMED Master’s program (Biomedical Engineering and Design), which provides advanced teaching.
In the 8th semester (D1):
In the 9th semester (D2):
