Course group - TB2-CVM
The student will become familiar with computer-aided design (CAD) of mechanical systems and manufacturing via rapid prototyping technologies (3D printing). The evaluation will be carried out via a design / manufacturing project of a mechanical system according to specifications established at the beginning of the UP. The last session will be devoted to the presentation of the results and exhibition.
Program :
Theory of mechanical systems (responsibility G. Kermouche): 6 hours of lessons / TD
Computer-aided design (responsibility of A Dréano): 3 hours of lessons / TD
Computer-aided manufacturing (H. Taxil): 3h class/DT
Project (A. Dréano, J. Monnatte, H. Taxil): 24h project
Project-based assessment (pass/fail mode) - handed in at last session
The skills acquired during this GP will be complementary to those acquired in the Toolbox "MSNA" and majors "Mechanics" or "Materials". These same skills can be applied in societal challenge "eco-design".
