General Description:
The unit consists of two parts:
- Initiation into the VBA language
- A Business game (Kalypso) consisting of managing a SME operating in a competitive market. Working in teams, students must run the company and if possible develop its activity during an accounting period (4 quarters).

Kalypso The Business game consists of “Managing a SME in a competitive environment (market)”. It involves: Understanding the interdependence of different functions Understanding the fundamental aspects of financial strategy, under internal and external constraints. You are “buyers”. The company already exists. It involves running the company over a financial year (4 simulated quarterly decisions) Team game. Assessment: preparatory work, business game results, final oral presentation. |
