This UP is dedicated to the practical work. During two practical sessions, the students will discover three processes available in the Centre SMS : Fused Filament Deposition, robocasting and stereolithography. During these sessions, they will fabricate different objects with complex geometries. The aim will be to understand the advantages and drawbacks of each process (especially for the types of materials, the geometries and dimensions of the "printable" objects).
On completion of the unit, the student will be capable of: | Classification level | Priority |
