General Description:
The UP Intelligent
Transport Systems shows how the use of new information technologies is
radically changing the transport sector with the aim of improving
efficiency, safety and user satisfaction while reducing environmental
impact. At the end of the course, students will learn about the issues
and challenges of implementing an intelligent transport system and how
mobility benefits from technological progress. They will know the
architectures of the domain.

Course |
(12h)The course begins with an introduction to the field of transport in order to know its main characteristics and how the use of new information technologies (NICT) can contribute to its evolution (3h). A second course presents by mode of transport the current state of ICT use based on concrete examples (3 hours). The third course extends to the issue of mobility and the new forms that are developing (3h). The last course presents existing architectures for the design of an Intelligent Transportation System. |
Practical courses |
(3h)Manipulation of an architecture for the design of an Intelligent Transport System. |
