This pedagogical unit is designed to develop the skills necessary to manage and improve the performance of business processes. It is built on 3 complementary pillars: the construction of performance indicator systems and dashboards, business process modeling techniques, and performance evaluation techniques (by simulation and optimization). These skills are transversal to all sectors of activity and are mobilized in several different engineering professions. Within the UP framework, we apply them to several concrete cases: process reorganization, indicator systems for logistics, industrial process optimization.
On completion of the unit, the student will be capable of: | Classification level | Priority |
---|---|---|
Modelize and reorganize business processes | 6. Assess | Essential |
Evaluate processes by simulation | 5. Summarise | Important |
