General Description:

The unit is taught during semesters 8 and 9. It aims to present the profession of designer, its practices, its role in industry and its interactions with engineering professions, with the help of case studies and practical application exercises. 
Unit (S8) : Practices and methods of the designer, sociology of innovation 
Unit (S9): ): User centered design, design thinking. In this section three professional designers will share their experiences by analysing case studies and will also animate product design workshops. Students will be able to practically apply a creative product design approach.
