  • General Description:

    This course group deals with the question of energy and its conversion into electricity on two levels:

    • Renewable energies and their integration into electricity networks
    • Technologies relating to autonomous objects and the control of their energy consumption

    On completion of the course students will be capable of:

    • Understanding in a scientific, coherent and structured way themes relating to energy transition

    Designing objects which are autonomous in energy terms for IoT applications

    Links between course units:

    The courses deal with questions of electric energy from several different angles and on different scales

    Orientations / Associations with other courses:

    Direct connections with the Embedded Systems and Microelectronics Design majors, relying on acquired knowledge from the core curriculum courses in analogue electronics and industrial computer science.
