  • General Description:

    The aim of this course group is to introduce the functions of an enterprise, in particular the marketing, commercial and financial functions. Understanding company organisation, key processes and principles (economic models, conception, production, supply chains …)

    On completion of the course group students will be able to understand and analyse relations between different functions of the enterprise.

    Links between course units:

    The course units are organised for the initial understanding of a theoretical and fundamental approach to these different elements.

    The session then concludes with a business game spread over several days consisting of understanding these aspects through practical implementation by simulation.

    The course group is comprised of two units organised in the following manner:

    Company culture and managerial methods :  

    • Keys for observation of the enterprise
    • Actors and operating systems of the enterprise

      Company vision and strategies 

    • Company vision and strategies: systematic approach
    • Introduction to production and stock management

      Enterprise simulation (4 day exercise)

    Orientations / Associations with other courses:

    The course is a prerequisite for understanding courses in the second semester. It allows for the conception of analytical grids for observation and experiments carried out during internships or work placements, associative activities
