General Description:

The course is dedicated to methodologies, model and language for Enterprise modelling and Engineering.

·         Develop an expertise on Enterprise Modelling Methodologies and Frameworks, embedded in a larger vision of System Science

·         Develop an expertise on Business Process Management Methodologies (BPMM), and on the capacity to manage rigorously a Business Process re-engineering project.

·         Develop operational skills on the use of a computer-based environment for Enterprise modelling and engineering, as a support for BPMM. These skills cover both modelling techniques and process-oriented simulation algorithms.

·         Develop an academic expertise on Conceptual modelling and Meta-Modelling methods which aim at developing innovative modelling languages and on associated research issues.

Through a mix between academic teachings, concrete case studies and tools and specific conferences, the overall objective of UE4 is to bring a large and deep expertise in the field of conceptual modelling, applied to Enterprise Modelling and Engineering techniques and methods. This module will build key competencies on Complex System Modelling and Simulation Techniques for process oriented models.
