This Teaching Unit is one of the most important ones in the second year of the CPS2 track. In small groups, students are requested to work on a comprehensive research and development project advised by the teachers.
Different from the M1 teaching unit on Integrative development of a CPS2, this project focuses on research and cutting-edge approaches for solving major issues in the development of cyber-physical social applications.
Students are expected to review the literature, synthesize existing approaches and standards, propose an innovative approach, and design experiments.
Only 20 hours in the agenda, but students are expected to work approximately 100 hours on their own for this teaching unit.
This teaching unit counts for 5 credits (/30 total for a semester).
