General Description:

The main objective of this course unit is to learn the fundamentals of mobile development. This course is divided in two parts:

Android development:

  • The Kotlin programming language
  • Activities, lifecycle, layouts, menus
  • Services and notifications
  • Authorizations

Web development for mobiles:

  • responsive web design 
  • accounting for intermittent connection or low bandwidth networks
  • access to mobile sensors and media devices

This teaching unit counts for 2 credits (/30 total for a semester).
